UPS’s branch campus in Cuenca invites students to take part in the 13th Burning Bots Competition (Concurso de Años Viejos (burnining of dummies) 2017 - Burning Bots 6.0). The aim of the competition is to encourage students to show their creativity and build technological dummies called años viejos that will later be burnt. 

The competition is divided into several categories.

The competition will take place in Cuenca according to the following schedule:

Exhibition: starting at 9am
Competition: starting at 3pm

The competition is organized by electronic, mechatronics, computer, mechanical and automation engineering, as well as telecommunications undergraduate programs with the support of the UPS IEEE student branch and the students federation.
