Calling for the 2016 UNESCO International Literacy Prizes, entitled "Innovations in Literacy". There will be two prizes:

-    The King Seijong Literacy prize, Sponsored by the Republic of Korea
-    The Confucius Literacy prize, Sponsored by the Republic of China

The awards ceremony will take place on September 8th, international literacy day. Winners will get a monetary award, a medal and a diploma for having participated.

Winners will be chosen by an international jury of five distinguished members who will base their decision on:

-    Relevance and solidity
-   Quality of teaching and learning
-    Impact
-    Innovative characteristics
-    Sustainability

Any institution, organization or person who fosters literacy may participate with efficient and innovative projects or programs. Participants must submit a video and / or any other material that backs up their participation.
