On August 25, the university's branch in Guayaquil held an Open House where students from several majors presented innovative projects which they developed during their classes. The aim was to show high school students and the overall public the university's academic offer.

The inauguration was presided by the vice president in Guayaquil Andres Bayolo Garay who welcomed all the attendees. "This event is for you, enjoy your stay in our institution", he said.

Students from about 85 high schools attended the Open House where university representatives explained everything the university has to offer.

The students were taken around the different stands from and the university's premises. UPS students showed their knowledge and skills throughout the open house.

"Besides showing students our academic offer, our aim is to show students the extracurricular activities such as sports and culture which they can join in the university", said Cesar Andrade, director off the communication.
