On December 9th, the university’s branch in Cuenca will hold its “Cultural Friday” program and this time they will host the 2016 “Voces Santa Cecilia” singing competition.

The event will take place in the university theater at 7:30pm. 12 students from different majors have made it to the finals after auditioning with other 45 students and will try to win this year’s competition.

The university has held this competition since its foundation, whose purpose is to encourage students show their singing skills and take part in this competition. The winners get a study scholarship for one semester.

The university invites the entire university community and the overall public to take part in this event.
