Universidad Politecnica Salesiana’s branch campus in Quito invites you to attend the conference “Smart Transmission Grids” which will be led by Jaime Cristobal Cepeda.

The conference is being organized by the Centro de Capacitación y Servicios Informáticos. The aim is to share experiences and research results about electrical systems and its importance in order to guarantee the efficient delivery of electrical energy and thus avoid power outages. 

Cepeda holds a doctorate degree in Electrical engineering from Universidad Nacional de San Juan, Argentina and works in the National Energy Control Center as the director of the Research and Development Department. He is also professor of the doctorate program in electrical engineering at Escuela Politécnica Nacional.
