Around 120 students from Guayaquil who are majoring in accounting and take Ethics class went out and cleaned several parks located near the university premises. The aim was to make students think about the effects of their actions from a Christian and ethical perspective so they are committed to their society.

After coming up with this project, they sent a proposal to the municipality of Guayaquil and after getting the approval, they assigned three parks in the south of the city, La Saiba, Los Almendros and 9 de Octubre.

For Victor Iza, integral education requires the study and practice of ethics to consolidate human values in students from critical rationality. "From Ethics, students become an integral person who, in his public practice, is able to generate their own learning processes" he said.

Students demonstrated the values that characterize them as people and citizens committed to the mission of UPS "honest citizens and good Christians." The activity was led by professors Veronica Loor and John Avila, members of the Pastoral Department.
