The university's radio show "Ñuca Ecuador" will be given an achievement award for inclusive communication by the Superintendence of Information and Communication (SUPERCOM for its acronym in Spanish)

The award is because of the work done UPS students in its three branches and the important contribution of promoting principles of inclusion, interculturality and educommunication. The awards ceremony will be held on October 27th in the National Assembly.

"Ñuca Ecuador", which is directed by Professor Susan Escobar, started thanks to an agreement signed between UPS President Javier Herran and the President of the Ecuadorian Radio Broadcasting Association, Andres Mendoza, on December 22nd.

Students from Cuenca, Guayaquil and Quito majoring in communication took part in this project and with their knowledge in radio production helped develop the Ñuca Ecuador program. For professor Escobar, the acknowledgement represents students' and professors' effort and commitment to disseminating the country's interculturality.

SUPERCOM representatives will visit UPS on October 5th to interview professors and students who are part of the project.
