The university's StartUPS and "Los Lideres" group in Guayaquil organized an event which they called "Motivación 3.0" which was aimed at students from all majors. The aim of this event was to give students support through mentorship and monitoring of entrepreneurship projects.

The talk was led by coach Alexis Lozano who encouraged and inspired students to join the STARTUPS entrepreneurship ecosystem and turn their innovative ideas into reality.
Motivacion 3.0 encourages people to learn, create and above all improve the world we live in. "These events allow us to share our experiences in developing our project", said Bianca Benavides, general administrator of "Los Lideres".

Some of the topics in this conference were:

-    Reality of the country
-    Unemployment rate
-    How to start a business in times of crisis? 

There were also activities done to stimulate students' creativity and development of ideas.
