UPS invites the university community and the overall public to the tribute of the Ecuadorian composer, pianist and orchestra director Gerardo Guevara.

The tribute will be performed by the university’s choir group from Guayaquil and renowned national and international musicians. 

Guevara is considered one of the most important musical exponents, his work has gained international relevance for its rhythmic- medieval characteristics and his music has been performed by renowned artists and orchestras such as Yehudy Menuhin in the Bath Festival in England.
