On August 31st, the university's branch campus in Guayaquil held an event titled "World Café UPS 2017"; a talk between students and respresentatives from several companies about the characteristics that companies look for in today's professionals.

Managers and representatives from the following companies attended this event: Andec, ReyBanpac, Tesalia Spring, Los Líderes, Importadora Bohórquez, Ecovitali and others.

Professors and students who attended talked to businesspeople, managers and human resource specialists about the most appreciated skills and knowledge they are looking for.

Miguel Rossignoli, general manager of Ecovitali, said this was a very innovative event. "These activities allow us to create a better relationship between academia and businesses, providing future professionals better opportunities", he said.

Finally, each representative received a recognition for their contribution in the event. Surely the event will facilitate the work done by students when identifying the characteristics mostly valued by organizations when seeking an occupation.

The conversation, held in the Coworking office, was coordinated by the Community Involvement Department, a team of professors from different undergraduate programs in UPS and experts from the company D & E Asesoría
