During the Forum on Nano science and scientific dissemination, professor Sabino Armenise, from the Natural Resources Biotechnology undergraduate program, gave a talk on scientific dissemination and highlighted the importance of a connection between society and researchers and the need to bridge the gap between science and society.

The international event, held from August 28 to September 1 in the city of Quito, brings together more than 30 research groups from 19 member countries of the "José Roberto Leite" Network for Dissemination and Training in Nanotechnology (NANODYF). Representatives of the dissemination of nanotechnology in Latin America shared success stories and experiences.

Professor Armenise is part of the initiative titled "La Biehela Cientifica, an association that works along with scientific institutions and communities to promote events that enable interaction with different people and awaken their passion for science in dynamic and innovative spaces.

He explained that the dissemination processes not only encompasses the presentation of papers, but social interaction by turning the scientific message into a more everyday message.

This association has organized several events, such as "El universo del BIG BANG al BIG FREEZE", where students and professors spoke about the universo and how modern model predict that an expansion will cause everything to freeze.
