Descripction

We educate professionals in agriculture who are able to scientifically, ethically and responsibly face and solve problems in the agricultural sector such as production, post production, animal wellbeing, plant preservation  and public health.

 

Job Context 

- An adequate application of physical and biological sciences to manage, store, preserve, pack and transport raw material of animal or vegetable origin
 
- An adequate application of national and international norms related to Good Agricultural Practices
 
- Assistance in post production to create public health norms and preservation of the environment.
 
- Assistance and auditing in public health norms and preservation of the environment 
 
- Help in the decision making of agricultural policies, biotechnology projects in the field of animal and vegetable reproduction; in projects of animal genetic improvement in research centers.
 
- Design and implementation of agricultural waste management plans
 
- Design and implementation of irrigation systems 
 
- Prevention, livestock and agricultural clinic in the public and / or private sector. The clinic follows the steps of the semiology that corresponds to the science and art of medicine in the inquiry process aimed at the diagnosis of a pathological situation, based on the integration and interpretation of symptoms and other data provided by anamnesis. 
 
- Generation of new technologies based on the agricultural reality of the country. 
 
- Participation and management of scientific research projects in the field of health, genetic improvement, animal and plant nutrition at public and / or private level. 
 
- Soil and water analysis for agricultural use. 
 
- Sustainable land management. 
 
- Use of technological tools for data analysis, and for the production of animal and plant species
