Robotics Club

Description:

Motivated by the advance of robotics worldwide, research, the will to strengthen knowledge, creativity, innovation, teamwork and scientific curiosity of students; the Robotics Club at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana began in 2005 in our branch campus in Guayaquil. The first tutors were Víctor Huilcapi Subía and Pablo Parra. In 2011, Huilcapi was appointed Director of the Electronic Engineering undergraduate program and as of 2012, the group was designated to Byron Lima Cedillo.

The Robotics Club has had national and international participations in academic events that have positioned it as a benchmark in robotics at a national level, It has obtained several championships, such as:

It is a committed and competitive multidisciplinary group. It strengthens scientific knowledge and human values that worthily represent our institution at the national and international level. It develops technology, as well as organizes and participates in technological events to achieve excellence in each of its members.

Vision

The Robotics Club aims to become a benchmark for robotics in Latin America, working as a team with quality, enthusiasm, passion, responsibility, ethics, and human values, to achieve innovation, continuous improvement in the area of robotics and professionals with engineering bases capable of adapting to the technological changes of our society.
