Regulations for University Degrees

Regulations for university degrees

According to the higher education council (CES) regulations, which determine the rules for obtaining university degrees, the higher council at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana  has decided that each campus must notify its alumni of the following:

Students that finished their studies by November 21st, 2008 must present their thesis plan until September 30th, 2014 in order to graduate by complying the current requirements set by UPS.

The deadline to graduate will be on May 21st, 2015.

The ONLY requirement to obtain the university degree for students who finished their studies before November 21st, 2008, will be to pass the graduation exam that has been created for every major.

Information regarding exam dates, guides, and other procedures related to the exam will be available in the corresponding major

Postgraduate students who had their thesis plans approved before the higher education council (CES) regulations became effective can present their thesis up to February 13th, 2015 WITHOUT requesting an extension.

Post graduate students who have finished their thesis can present it and continue the graduation procedures.
