We invite you to take part in the 2018 Hackathon in the city of Guayaquil, where participants will create strategies that have a positive impact on 4 important areas for the development of society: education and social action, health, mobility and environment, which will strengthen public management and improve people’s quality of life.

 

 

The hackathon will be divided into three stages: 

 

1. Teams will send their innovative ideas to solve problems that have previously been identified. In this stage, 16 teams made up by at least 3 and mostly 5 members will be chosen. They must meet the necessary requirements.

 

2. There will be an induction process to answer any questions participants may have regarding the development of their solutions.

 

3. The hackathon will begin in order to develop technological projects that will solve a previously identified problem.

 

Once the three stages have been completed, participants will present their solutions to a qualifying jury made up by specialists in different areas who will evaluate the proposals of each group through a pitch. A winning team will be chosen for each identified problem. A prize will be awarded by the sponsoring companies.

Participants who are eligible will participate in an induction day on July 24 to subsequently be part of the Hackathon
