The intercultural education undergraduate program and the intercultural education research group in our branch campus in Quito invites you to attend the talk titled “El mapa escolar como “epistemicidio” de lo educativo: comprensión de la escuela desde los márgenes”, research project carried out by Alberto Moreno Doñas from Universidad de Valparaiso, Chile.

The aim of the talk is to discuss current pedagogical theories and public policies in education, which are characterized for having inequality in gender, ethnics, sexual identity and others. The consequence of not considering this reality is that there is only one school, usually homogenous and aseptic, which is not capable of contextualizing itself according to its environment.
