Contest: "Long live Shakespeare"

To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, the British Embassy in Quito has organized a contest to encourage Ecuadorians to learn more about the great British playwright and celebrate with his life and work.

The contest, called "Long live Shakespeare" is part of a global initiative, "Shakespeare Lives" and seeks to unite efforts with all higher education institutions in the country to motivate its students, teachers, as well as the overall public to participate in this contest and win a trip for two to the UK and tour London and Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of the British playwright.

The call is open from August 1 until September 2.

Participants must be over 18 years, live in Ecuador and have an Ecuadorian passport.
