Conference: “Anthropology of Development: The case of USAID"

The applied anthropology major in the university’s branch campus in Quito invites students to attend the conference titled “Anthropology of Development: The case of USAID” which will be led by the speaker Laura Gonzalez.

The event will take place on Friday, April, 28th at 5:30pm. The aim is to provide students specialized theoretical and methodological knowledge that contribute to their process of academic education.

Laura Gonzalez is a doctorate student in Latin American Cultural Studies at Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar and the author of several books such as Fronteras en el Limbo.  El Plan Colombia en el Ecuador and Peones en un Ajedrez Militar: los Habitantes de la Frontera Norte. As part of her professional experience, she has donde research in the fields of politics and economics in several Latin American countries. 

The conference will be held in the Candido Rada Auditorium in the “El Giron” campus
