The university's community involvement department organized the 4th Job Fair in its branch campus in Guayaquil in order to create a relationship between public and private companies and the university community.

About 900 people (students and alumni)  attended the fair and were able to talk to analysts and human resource managers about the professional profile they are looking for to work in different areas. "This is the result of months of hard work, it is important that UPS students have this first approach to an interview" said Wendy Luna, director of the community involvement department in Guayaquil.

56 public and private companies willing to give salesian professionals a job attended the fair. To take part in this event, participants had to register online through the university's website which allowed the university to have the exact number of attendees to the fair.

"The participation of companies has been really good, it has been greater than previous years", said Marlene Mosquera, professor from the faculty of communication.

Before starting the event, there were some activities such as "Mentoring", which allowed students to learn about ICTs for interviews, and a tour of the university to learn more about how students prepare to become professionals. "Education at UPS turns us into good professionals and people which will be useful for life", said Cristopher Garcia, UPS student.
