On September 22nd students from the automotive engineering undergraduate program in Guayaquil visited the laboratories in the university's branch campus in Cuenca.

The aim of this technical visit is that students learn more about the program they have chosen to study. "Students had the opportunity to learn about several applications of their future career and the benefits of having state of the art laboratories in the university", said Renato Fierro, director of this program.

The 36 students who visited Cuenca carried out practicums in:

- Simulation of vehicular systems through electronic modules

- Measurement of operating parameters and simulation of engine faults

- Review of connection circuits for exterior and interior lighting, air conditioning in vehicles

- Simulation of pneumatic suspension systems with electronic control and revision of the pneumatic brake system of trucks.

The Automotive Engineering undergraduate program began its academic process in the 50th academic period of Guayaquil and is oriented to technology innovation within this field for university students.
