The university's branch campus in Cuenca inaugurated a soccer competition organized by the Students Federation in Cuenca (FEUPS-Cuenca) where over 400 students that make up 40 teams will participate.

The ceremony was attended by Father Javier Herran, UPS president, who congratulated the members of the students' federation for making students from different majors get together. 
Juan Bravo, spoke on behalf of students and made participants take oath, as is a tradition in sports competitions in our country. 

Eduardo Espinoza, president of FEUPS- Cuenca said: "We have always thought that a fundamental aspect of people's development is doing sports, therefore we have organized this competition which will also encourage friendship among all students.
