The university's branch campus in Cuenca held a graduation ceremony in the university theater for 44 students who successfully ended the following undergraduate programs: education sciences, communication, physical education, psychology, accounting, environmental engineering, biotechnology, electric, electronic, industrial, computer and automotive mechanical engineering; as well as the master's programs in mathematical methods and numerical simulation in engineering.

The director of the mechanical engineering undergraduate program, Luis Garzón, started the ceremony by thanking the graduates for having accepted the challenge of reaching this goal 5 years ago, he also thanked their families for supporting the students throughout this journey. "University life goes beyond academia, it's about meeting people and accepting others' opinions in order to create interpersonal relationships. These years of academic life, full of sacrifice, perseverance, personal effort, commitment and responsibility make each one of you appreciate the goal of being professionals, "said Garzón.

Cesar Vasquez, vice president of UPS's branch campus in Cuenca, said "We are very confident of the success that all of you will achieve in your careers. We know that in the professional world you will perform with great professionalism, but above all, as human beings who will be at the service of others. Keep studying and preparing yourselves as professionals. Remember that this university will always be your home"

Diego Solis, who graduated from physical education, spoke on behalf of all graduates. He thanked all his professors for their support and teachings.
