Students from the communication undergraduate program in the university's branch campus in Guayaquil held an event titled "EXPOCOM SCENARIOS: communication for social construction", where they presented several projects on the history of communication, sociology and photography.

The aim of this event was to show what students have learned during their time at the university. "All that theoretical knowledge becomes hands on practice and students can create innovative projects", said UPS professor Marlene Mosquera.

Some of the projects from first and second year students focused on:

- Communication and culture as a form of social construction

- Politics, economics and society in the 21st century

Students also presented several projects about the evolution of communication, interculturality, the history of our country and movie covers by using illumination techniques and camera ISO.
