Meeting between the university and TARPUQ

The university and TARPUQ, an Ecuadorian company that manufactures electronics, signed an inter institutional cooperation agreement that will help develop technological and innovative projects with students which in turn will benefit society.

The first aspect will be to implement dual education programs in electronics that will contribute to the country's technological and industrial development. This program will be led by TARPUQ, the Chamber of Industries and German Chamber; the program will apply the same curriculum implemented in Germany. The second aspect is the use of the university's specialized laboratories which will be used to conduct research and carry out tests.

The program will provide knowledge on manufacturing, design and solutions to market needs. Participants will create electronic products intended to meet current needs. "This agreement allows students to adapt to the needs of society, acquire more knowledge and develop their creativity", said Juan Pablo Salgado, Head of Research.
