Three books on poetry anthology were presented in the university's branch campus in Guayaquil. These books have parts from books written by Ecuadorian writers David Ledesma and Hugo Mayo, as well as students from the project "Literature in movement" which is carried out by the communication undergraduate program.

The books are:

- Antologia Poetica

- Una pupila cortada en la oscuridad

- Feria de Carnes: Antologia del proyecto Literatura en Movimiento

For the first two books, Augusto Rodriguez, writer and professor from Guayaquil, selected the most significant poems from each writer as well as the prefaces from the books. "These books are classics of Ecuadorian poetry and can now be found in Spain, Colombia, Argentina and Mexico", said Rodriguez.

"We ae very happy to see the results of our work, knowing that what we have written is now in a book, compensates everything we have done during this time", said Lisbeth Piloso, communication student.

It should be noted that David Ledesma's and Hugo Mayo's books were published by the Spanish publisher "Pre - Textos" with support from the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Ecuador, while "El Quirófano Ediciones", with the support of UPS, published "Feria de Carnes".

"This type of event is important because young people today have distanced themselves from the literary part that shows the feelings of Ecuadorian artists, so these events should be done continuously," said Carmen Ledesma, daughter of poet David Ledesma
