Each university is committed to collaborate and contribute with its capacity and experience to create awareness of work developed in the last three years to implement the IAR Principles and the Voluntary Guidelines of Land Governance into the curriculum. University teaching (undergraduate and graduate) and research. The work carried out in recent years has allowed a total of 27 universities from seven countries (Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Spain) to be included in the project. The signing of the agreement has been possible thanks to the collaboration between the FAO and the General Foundation of the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (FGUPM), promoting the dialogue on experiences and learning, verifying that the legislative regulation on universities allows very diverse curricular developments both in teaching degree, postgraduate, seminars and lines of research. These curricular developments are the tangible result of the link between the university and society.
