From the 26th to the 29th of November, the psychology undergraduate program in Quito held "Psychology Week". The aim was to complement students' classes and strengthen integration between students and professors by presenting research projects, holding entrepreneurship fairs and an artistic festival.

Students learned more about topics on biology, psychology and culture, as well as different areas of psychology such as clinic, educational, occupational, scientific research and community.

The social psychology group presented the workshop: "Young people's rights". The group carried out an analysis to learn about what young people think about their rights.

The sociocultural group worked on five categories: mobility, gender, socioeconomic class, ethnic and disabilities.

The psychology group role played the treatment of a patient with systemic therapeutic intervention which deals with problems in the family context. "It was interesting to learn how to face family problems. The main topic was family loyalty and how it can be the core having a conflict" said psychology student Yelitza Vergara.

The occupational psychology group presented three competencies: proactivity, leadership and teamwork by carrying out fun activities. "Competencies help predict future behavior. Students should know that in an interview they will be assessed according to those competencies ", said professor Ximena Ramirez.

Finally, psychology students presented their entrepreneurship projects such as soaps, gelatin, cookies, crafts and fabrics.
