Salesian Foundation PACES celebrated 30 years at the service of children

The Salesian foundation "PACES" (Fundación Salesiana PACES) celebrated 30 years at the service of children, and adolescents in vulnerable situations by holding a special event in "El Arenal" which was attended by city officials and representatives of salesian centers. 

 First there was a celebration of mass presided by Father Fransisco Sanchez, Father Javier Herran and Father Juan Cardenas. After mass, there was lunch for everyone. 

The mayor of Cuenca, Marcelo Cabrera, spoke about the commitment the municipality has with children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. PACES has trained many people in different areas and now those people can work and care for their families by working in industrial mechanics, automotive mechanics, electricity, electronics, plumbing, bakery, gardening. 

Edgar Gordillo, director of PACES foundation, thanked everyone who support their work in different areas in the city such as: Feria Libre, Rotary, Nueve de octubre, Diez de Agosto, etc.
