The university took part in an international robotics competition

The robotics club from our branch campus in Guayaquil took part in the 2nd edition of the international robotics tournament titled "Reto del Pacífico" held in Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL). 

50 teams from different educational institutions from Ecuador, Mexico and Colombia were part of the tournament. "The level in this tournament is relevant due to the history of all the participating teams; our students were able to demonstrate their skills and knowledge", said Byron Lima, coordinator of the robotics club in Guayaquil.

Our university received the credentials to participate in international competitions such as: Guerra de Robots in Mexico, Liga de Robotica in Argentina, Robot Games 2019 in Guayaquil and Copa Utabot 2019 which will be held in Universidad Tecnica de Ambato.
