The IEEE student branch in our branch campus in Guayaquil held a ceremony so new students can take office for a new term. The branch promotes research and technology advancement among students and professors.

The ceremony was attended by UPS president Javier Herran, the vice president of the university's campus in Guayaquil Andres Bayolo and representatives of IEEE student branches nationwide.

Javier Herran encouraged students from engineering majors to participate and strengthen the knowledge they have acquired in the classroom.

- Courses and seminars for UPS students

- Agreements with companies for students to carry out internships

- Encourage research in UPS students

- Competition on Science and Technology CTR_IEEE_2019

"Students who are part of IEEE at Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (UPS) can benefit from several academic activities such as memberships for IEEE magazines, training sessions, internships, etc.", said Monica Miranda, IEEE representative.
