The "Ciudad de Cuenca" music group presented a concert filled with romantic music in the university theater as part of the university's Cultural Friday programs. 

Wilson Quintuña, acting vice president in the university's branch campus in Cuenca, thanked the music group and the culture department from the Municipality of Cuenca for taking part in this cultural event.

Some of the songs played by the band during the first part of the show were: "España Cañi", "Ternura", "Zardas", "Ofensa", "Amarraditos", "El Escondite del Hermano".  

In the second part they played some pasillos: "Anhelos", "Esta pena mía", "Tú y yo" and "El Aguacate". 

The members of the band are: Bolívar Sarmiento Regalado, Polivio Mejía, Daniel Rodas, René Martínez, and Luis Mario Pesántez Torres.
