Students, professors and the overall public attended the presentation of the book "La Chakana del Corazonar: Desde las espiritualidades y las sabidurías insurgentes de Abya Yala", written by Patricio Guerrero. 

The book contains poetic, spiritual and political issues. Ruben Bravo, director of the anthropology undergraduate program, spoke about the importance of the book. "The author writes about the wisdom of ancestral Andean communities, as is the case of the Kitu Kara community and writes about its spirituality, wisdom and culture", he said.

The book is aimed at rescuing emotions, it focuses on the spiritual force of chakana in the Andean world, considered the connection and one of the most important models of spirituality in the Andes, said the author. 

Ariruma Kowi, researcher from Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar, said the book seeks to make communities known about, it invites us to stay connected to communities and discover other forms of building a respectful society.
