New representatives of the students federation (FEUPS) in our branch campus in Quito took office during a ceremony presided by Javier Herran, university president. The ceremony was also attended by Jose Juncosa, vice president of our branch in Quito; Karla Altamirano, president of the students federation; Nicolas Grijalva, outgoing president; Angy Imbaquingo and Sebastian Macas.

Jose Juncosa said "The students federation have an active participation in the university". He encouraged the new representatives to work hard and find solutions to problems.

Altamirano, the new president, thanked everyone for the opportunity to work for the university and is committed to working for students' wellbeing. Grijalva spoke about the activities that were carried out during his term in the last two years and said that the best experience has been to work alongside classmates for the university's benefit. 

Father Herran asked the new representatives to strengthen their service and work for the well being of all students. The new representatives are:
