"I feel very good at UPS, I am thankful for the way the university has welcomed us so far," said Sofía Andrade, a computer student.

Professors have had several training sessions in order to update their knowledge in different areas and improve their quality and performance during the teaching-learning process. "We have high expectations for this semester, students have chosen us as the institution that will educate and prepare them", said Susana Pombo, a professor at UPS.

Representatives of the university's campus in Guayaquil welcomed all the new students who are now part of the Salesian family. "We hope this semester is loaded with wisdom, friendship and great success," said, Andrés Bayolo, vice president of the university's campus in Guayaquil.
