University officials lay the foundation stone for the construction of the second phase of the new and modern building located in "Maria Auxiliadora" campus.

It is a 14,000m2 construction, the ground floor will be occupied by administrative offices of human resources, academic coordination, finance, and others. The 5 floor building will have 70 new classrooms, a food court on the last floor, an auditorium for 400 people, and another for 200 people.

The building will be used by about three thousand students who major in civil engineering, basic education, early education, biotechnology, psychology, business administration and environmental engineering. Soon, the university will have economics and law.

Father Javier Herran, University president, and Jeffrey Zuñiga, the university's attorney, were awarded a recognition for their support in the construction of the new building which will be equipped with the highest quality standards. "The university is made up by students, without them there is no university. Professors need infrastructure to provide excellent service"
