The challenge is to create autonomous robots programmed to make decisions based on algorithms and sensors that can detect opponents and obstacles. There were over 60 prototypes that competed in "Minisumo" category, the 10cm robots   emulate the movements of sumo wrestlers. In this category Daniel Endara came in 5th and Rene Ramirez 7th. In the "Speed " category, Michael Rivera, María José Guaygua, Omar Martínez and Daniel Endara came in 6th.

"Although we were unable to win the first three places like in previous years, we are happy we had the opportunity to represent the university. We thank university officials for supporting our participation in these events"
