Students majoring in electronics and automation in our branch campus in Guayaquil led the course titled "Robotronix" for children and teens from the Cuba neighborhood, located near the university. Participants learned about topics related to programming NAO, Lego and Doby robots.

The aim of the course was to strengthen participants' knowledge in robotics and programming, as well as help the development of psychomotor, cognitive, emotional and social skills.
"We hope our young participants learn to create programs and manipulate different types of robots", said Victor Huilcapi, director of electronics and automation.

The 20 hour course had on campus and online activities; to end the course successfully students had to present a project to demonstrate what they had learned. "It think it is interesting because here I can learn about electronics, the movement of robots, how to program and about what they have inside", said Rafaela Armijos, one of the participants
