The university held the 1st Salesian Cultural Dance Fest event titled "Bosco Fest 2019" which was organized by the pastoral department and was attended by Colegio ETSA de Bomboiza, P. María Auxiliadora de Guayaquil, Comunidad Salesiana,  Oratorio San José de Manta, Proyecto Salesiano, Unidad Educativa María Auxiliadora de Esmeraldas,  Unidades Educativas San Juan Bosco de Zaruma, Domingo Savio de Cayambe, Comunidad Salesiana de Riobamba and Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.

The aim of the event was to promote salesian spirituality through national and Latin American folk dance. The event was full of creativity  and talent where dancers wore great traditional clothing which is typical of Ecuador. 

University officials, professors, directors and students were happy to have attended the event.
