Thanks to the mobility agreement Project Erasmus+KA 107, between Universidad Politecnica Salesiana and the Government of Spain, Carlos Oswaldo Verdugo Cabrera, a student majoring in mechanical engineering in our branch campus in Cuenca, will travel to Spain in March 2020 to study one semester in Universidad de Leon.

Carlos Verdugo is in his last year and is a member of the students federation; he was chosen after a very strict selection process and when asked about what this trip means to him, he stated that "it is a great opportunity for personal and professional development, as well as great responsibility because I will be representing the university"

Luis Garzon, director of the mechanical engineering undergraduate program, said that the trip represents a great opportunity for the program because it will also give other students the opportunity to have access to these scholarships.

Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca, congratulated Carlos Verdugo, wished him success and said the university will be well represented. For the university it is pleasing to know that a new student now has the opportunity to study abroad.
