In order for English students to improve their listening and speaking skills, our branch campus in Cuenca held a "Christmas Carols Festival" in the university theater. 

Around 250 students from different English levels presented music shows, choirs and choreographies. To start off the event, a group of students sang "Imagine" as a way of reminding everyone the importance of world peace.

Students sang: "It´s the most wonderful time of the year"; "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer"; "Sleigh ride"; "Jingle bell rock" and "Rocking around the Christmas tree.

Victoria Jara, director of the university's language institute in Cuenca, said "it is very important that students acquire and improve their language skills through these activities and what better time to do so than this Christmas season"
