Members of the student welfare office from our branch campus in Guayaquil made several donations to nonprofit organizations and social help institutions located in the south of the city and to residents of the "Cuba" neighborhood. 

The institutions that received the donations were: Hogar Calderón Ayluardo, Hogar Perpetuo Socorro, Escuela Municipal de Ciegos "4 de enero", Fundación Sin Barreras (FUNSIBA), Proyecto Salesiano Guayaquil and Hogar San José. 

Emay Jaramillo, director of the student welfare office, said "this idea was supported by our vice president Andres Bayolo and it's not the first time we do it, a couple of years ago we donated things to Hogar San Jose, this year we decided to do it to other institutions as well". 

Driana Heras, director of FUNSIBA, a foundation for the elderly with disabilities, was very thankful for the donations. "Here we have people who have been abandoned because of their condition, we are very thankful for the donations", she said.
