New strategies and tools for cultural management
Due to the current health emergency and to respond to workers' needs, the master's degree program in cultural management held the workshop titled "New strategies and tools for cultural management" which will provide participants information on new digital tools that are necessary for management, promotion and development of the cultural sector.
The four - week course will help participants learn about new strategies for innovation and digital entrepreneurship as well as tools for cultural management and dissemination.
Week one: Use of social networks
Week two: Digital marketing
Week three: Innovation and digital entrepreneurship
Week four: Digital tools for management and cultural dissemination
At the end of week three, students presented their business ideas for culture, this activity was organized by professors Juan Pablo Espinosa and Julio Cesar Garcia. Participants presented four projects: "Viernes Cultural Salesiano virtual", "1 Piti más por las Conceptas", "Plaza Creativa" and "Logox".
The jury, made up by Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca; Juan Pablo Salgado, head of research; and Paola Carrera from the entrepreneurship and innovation department; had to choose the most innovative and feasible project that used current tools and platforms for its implementation.
Blas Garzon, director of the master's degree program in cultural management, congratulated participants for their innovative projects.
