The university's Coworking StarUPS office successfully organized the "reCRÉATE BootCamp 2020" which this year was held online from the 26th to the 28th of June. The aim of the event is to give students the opportunity to present different business ideas which seek to contribute to society.

This event has been held for four consecutive years in the university's different branch campuses; it is held as a bootcamp where participants develop a business model with the help of mentors – professors who guide students through the process.

Due the current situation, this year's event was held online through several digital platforms which enabled participants to interact and work as a team.

UPS president Javier Herran gave the opening speech and encouraged participants to actively participate in change and seek innovative ideas that will help communities. 94 participants took part in this year's edition of the bootcamp, they had a briefing on the activities that would take place and then formed groups to work on their idea. There were also 3 speakers who talked about design, business models and pitch, as well as 18 mentors who guided participants.

5 teams were selected to pitch their business idea to the jury, made up of a team of experts in entrepreneurship. The winners were:

1st place- "SuVeci". An application that seeks to bring together small scale producers and national merchants.

2nd place-  "Hair Health". A scalp cooling system to prevent hair loss.

3rd place- "Mifan"- Beer made from rice.

Participants had to work from home and fulfil several activities meeting deadlines; their work was constantly being evaluated by mentors and organizers.
