For this new semester, Universidad Politecnica Salesiana is currently promoting virtual international mobility. University officials held a welcome meeting with national and foreign students who will be part of this program.

UPS president Juan Cardenas encouraged students to always look for opportunities to improve their education through the university's offers.

The virtual international mobility programs allow students, based on the agreements with international institutions, to carry out part of their studies online at international universities, within the context of the programs: EMOVIES, AMERICARUM MOBILITAS and PAME, initiatives in which university students find opportunities to strengthen their skills in various academic areas, under a model that prioritizes the exchange of knowledge internationally.

This year, UPS is working with several institutions and will have students fom countries such as: Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Mexico, who will join the new academic period to take subjects online.

"I am thankful to have the opportunity of studying at UPS and I am eager to start this semester", said Andres Veron from Argentina who studies at Universidad Nacional del Mar del Plata.

The university's community engagement and international affairs department has had constant meetings with international organizations in order to provide students new opportunities for their professional development.
