The book: "Delirios Juveniles, expresiones creativas de futuros escritores"

The communication undergraduate program in our branch campus in Cuenca presented the book "Delirios Juveniles, expresiones creativas de futuros escritores" which contains short stories written students and graduates.

The book presents eleven stories, each with a photograph taken by the same author. The stories are the result of the work done in the subjects of Creative Writing and Language and Communication, led by professors Pedro Colangelo and Carmen Álvarez, respectively.

The welcome speech was done by Fernando Pesántez Avilés, general vice president of the university, who highlighted the work done by students and congratulated the undergraduate program for the publication of this book. In his speech, he highlighted that the book is a collection of expressions, of delusions of young writers who transform their thoughts into words, who have captured all their creativity in a book in order to share ideas, experiences, but above all their emotions and that will nurture their future professional action.

Julio Merchán Romero, coordinator of the book, explained the process students and graduates went through to write their stories in a book. This was possible thanks to the support of teachers and the director of the undergraduate program.

The Director of the undergraduate program, Andrea De Santis, stated that this collection of stories is a sample of the capacity and professionalism of Communication students. This program and the university have the responsibility of promoting the dissemination of knowledge that is generated in classrooms and projects, especially when they are transcendent for the community, as in the case of this book. He congratulated each of the authors and teachers on the project, inviting them to download the book.
