90 representatives from the sports, academic, pastoral and cultural groups from Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca attended the III National Salesian Groups (ASU) Meeting in Paute which was organized the UPS-Cuenca Pastoral department. 

This event is held every two years, in 2013 they meeting was held in Crucita Manabi. During the meeting, the participants discussed the ASU National Plan, changes to the ASU National regulations, and the activities planned for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Don Bosco.

To end the meeting, all the representatives attended the mass that was celebrated by the Rector Major of the Salesians Father Angel Fernandez Artime, where there were over 8,000 people. 

The next meeting will take place in November 2015 or February 2016 and this time it will be organized by UPS-Guayaquil.
