UPS professor received his doctorate degree in Spain

Jack Fernando Bravo Torres, UPS professor and the director of the exact sciences department at the university, obtained his Doctorate Degree in Telematics Engineering at Universidad de Vigo after successfully presenting his thesis titled "Improvement of communication services over mobile ad hoc networks in pedestrian and vehicular scenarios by using virtualization". The doctoral thesis was led by Martín López Nores and Yolanda Blanco Fernández.

Here are the professors who were in charge of grading the thesis: Dr. José Pazos, Universidad de Vigo; Dr. María Calderón, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid;a and Dr. Juan Carlos Guerri  from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
Professor Bravo received  "CUM LAUDE" honors. 

The research was also published in several journals such as Q1 and Q2,  Journal of Computational Science, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Pervasive Computing, and MTA Review.

Professor Bravo presented a total of 18 papers in international conferences in Scotland, China, Oman, Austria, Portugal, USA, Canada, Romania, Tunis, Croatia, Spain and others. He was also awarded for presenting the best paper at the IEEE International Conference Consumer Electronics.       

Professor Bravo was happy to have his doctoral degree and said that now everything that he has learnt will be transmitted to his students at UPS.
