UPS signed an agreement with the Ecuadorian Radio Broadcasting Association

On December 22nd, UPS president Javier Herran and Ecuadorian Radio Broadcasting Association president Eduardo Mendoza signed an interinstitutional agreement. 

The agreement will allow UPS social communication students to carry out their interships at the Association. The agreement is based on Article 87 of the Organic Law of Higher Education which states that it is a requirement for students to have pre professional practice before graduating in organizations related to the student's major.

The university agreed that it will choose the most suitable person for the internship according to the company's requirements and that a professors will be in charge of supervising the student. The Association agreed to create opportunities for UPS students in their projects, create training courses, as well as take students in the university's job bank into account. 

"UPS is thankful and it is also a challenge since it is a nationwide project that involves the social communication major in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca…" said Father Herran.
