The UPS-Guayaquil cheerleaders represented Universidad Politécnica Salesiana and Ecuador in the UCA International All Star Championship which was held in Orlando Florida, USA at the ESPN SPORTS COMPLEX on March 12 and 13. 

The UPS cheerleading team faced cheerleaders from Mexico, Canada, Chile, Domenican Republic, Costa Rica, Barbados, Colombia, Korea, Japan, Germany and Ireland. 

They won first place in the Open Coed Level 4 category and fourth place in the Nations Ranking category. "Having competed in the UCA International All Star Championship gives us greater experience and projects the work we do internationally" said Maria de los Angeles Andrade, instructor of the UPS-Guayaquil Cheerleaders.
