On January 14th, 31 professionals were awarded approval certificates for passing the course on Tax Expert. The closing ceremony was attended by Patricio Benavides, academic coordinator in Quito; Lola Vasquez, director of the community involvement department, who was there on behalf of Jose Juncosa, vicepresident of the university's branch in Quito; Edison Naranjo Flor, representative of "Capacitar" Foundation; and Mercedes Zapata, director of the accounting major.

The course was held thanks to an agreement signed between UPS and "Capacitar" Foundation to train participants on taxation, its functions, processes, techniques and tools. For two months, participants were trained by professionals in the field of law, accounting and taxation.

Patricio Benavides congratulated all the participants for successfully ending this course and encouraged them to continue reinforcing their knowledge through courses. Edison Naranjo thanked UPS for supporting the course and helping people become tax experts.
